Uneven applications result in wasted product and inconsistent results. That’s why we developed Opti-Rate in conjunction with CapstanAG. Opti-Rate is a new pulse-width modulation (PWM) rate-controlled spray system designed to keep your applications uniform, no matter how your machine moves.
Opti-Rate independently controls your flow rate and pressure to maintain a consistent application across the entire boom. That means that when your Steel Green machine turns, Opti-Rate ensures the spray rate remains consistent thanks to its turn compensation technology. Opti-Rate also increases output when the machine speeds up, and decreases output when it slows down to maximize chemical savings.
The system also includes an easy-to-use display that allows you to choose your nozzle tip, rate, and pressure. Just input your settings, and the system takes care of the rest. That means you get a consistent droplet size and real-time operator feedback, so you can easily monitor and fine-tune your spray settings.
Opti-Rate is available as an optional accessory and is compatible with all new Steel Green units. It’s another way we’re helping turf professionals like you work smarter, spray more precisely, and get the most out of your machine.
